Customer Service Specialist

A biotech manufacturing company in San Jose, CA is looking for a  Customer Service Specialist with a focus on Biologics Product Lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales quotes to customers and sales personnel.
  • Process customer purchase orders into MAS ERP system according to procedures and financial controls.
  • Read customer terms and conditions and verify compliance with company standards.
  • Resolve PO discrepancies with customers.
  • Work directly with sales personnel on PO resolution and notification.
  • Update opportunities in Salesforce to reflect change in quote and order status.
  • Work with production and logistics on product availability and communicate to customer.
  • Manage backlog report to ensure order fulfillment and service work is as timely as possible.
  • Work with finance to ensure timely billing.
  • This position is to cover Western Standard Time Zone – 8AM start time required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred

Must have 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferably in a biotech or reagent company.

Must be familiar with order entry processes in an ERP system.

Experience with Salesforce preferred.

Must have worked with customers and field personnel via email and phone, be customer and detail focused.
