The Payroll Manager will oversee and supervise the payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department; payroll processing and benefits administration.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
10+ years of experience with Accounting and/or Payroll, 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Experience with Auditing timecards, financial reports, and HR files.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficient with payroll software (Quickbooks, ADP, Crystal reports)
Experience with Cyma is preferred.
