A manufacturing company in San Jose, CA is looking for a Purchasing Administrator.

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor relations
  • Order entry
  • Generate purchase orders
  • Confer with vendors to obtain product or services including price, availability, and lead times’.
  • Follow up
  • Maintain all vendor and product files
  • Compliance to specifications as required

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus a  minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to track down materials and supplies in a timely manner.

Highly organuized.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Must have the following computer skills: Excel, Quick Books, Power Point presentations, Search Engine Optimization
